What asking in public involves
Read this before you sign in. A published question cannot be made private again, and for some problems the private intake is the better route.
01Before you sign in
What happens to what you write
You write it
Saved as a draft only you can read. Nothing is published and nobody is notified.
A moderator reads it
Every question waits for a person. That hold, not the automatic checks on the form, is what actually keeps personal data off a public page.
It is published
Public: anyone can read, copy, cache and index it. GambleLABS cannot make it private again.
Members reply
You mark what helped and, when your problem is solved, you close it yourself. Nobody else can.
02The terms of the public route
Three things that are not negotiable
- Public
A published question is readable by anyone, including search engines and anyone who copies it before you change your mind. Deleting it here does not delete their copy.
- Alias or anonymous
You choose whether your display name, a pseudonym or nothing at all appears. Moderators can always see who asked, because a question nobody can be accountable for is a question nobody can appeal.
- No documents
This form accepts text only. If your problem turns on a statement, a screenshot or correspondence, report privately to GambleLABS instead — that intake encrypts contact details, accepts files and publishes nothing without your recorded consent.
03When you are ready
Sign in to ask
An account is needed so that a question can be moderated, appealed and closed by the person who asked it — not so that your name appears on it.
Informational only
This material is general information about how complaint and dispute processes work. It is not legal advice, it does not create a professional relationship, and it cannot account for the facts of an individual case. Deadlines and procedures change. Confirm anything time-critical directly with the authority named, and consider taking qualified advice in your own jurisdiction.
