Player help and community cases

Get help with a gambling dispute

Three ways to get help, and they are not interchangeable: ask the community in public, report the problem privately to GambleLABS, or read the case files that have already been reviewed and published.

Ask the community

Describe what happened and other members answer in public. A moderator reads every question before it appears, and you choose whether your name, a pseudonym or nothing at all is attached to it.

Published in publicPseudonym or anonymousNo documents accepted

Report privately to GambleLABS

Send the account and the documents behind it to GambleLABS alone. Contact details are encrypted, files are accepted and scanned, and nothing is published unless you have read the exact redacted version and approved that version.

Confidential by defaultEvidence acceptedYou approve the exact version

Browse reviewed case files

Reports that have been through review, redaction and a consent check, written up as records. Each one states how strongly it is evidenced and how it ended, including the ones that ended with nothing recovered.

RedactedEvidence status shownOutcome recorded

The difference is not a setting you can change later. A question is published where anyone can read, copy and index it, and GambleLABS cannot make it private again; a report is read only by GambleLABS and is never published unless you approve the exact redacted version.

0 published

Somebody may already have asked it. Every filter below is built from the questions that exist, so nothing here leads to an empty page.

Titles only. The text of somebody’s account of their own gambling problem is public, but it is not indexed for searching one guess at a time.

No questions have been published yet

Questions appear here once a moderator has read them. Nothing on this page is generated, so an empty list means nobody has asked yet — not that the section is broken.

03Closed by the person who asked

Recently resolved

A question is resolved only when the person who asked it says their problem is solved. Nobody else can make that mark.

No records published

Nothing has been marked resolved yet

Resolved questions are the useful ones to read: they show what the answer turned out to be. This list fills as askers close their own questions.

04Reviewed and redacted

Reviewed case files

No records published

No case file has completed review

A case file is not a report. Publishing one requires three separate things, and until all three are true for a report nothing appears here.

  • A reviewer has assessed the evidence and recorded how far it goes, including where it goes nowhere.
  • The account has been rewritten with identifying detail removed, by hand, from the reviewer’s own reading rather than by a redaction tool.
  • The reporter has been shown that exact redacted version and has approved it. Without that approval the report stays private, and no other basis substitutes for it.
Report privately

In the meantime the other two paths are open: ask the community or report privately to GambleLABS.

What you can already require

Open Player Rights

Much of what people ask here has a procedural answer that does not depend on the operator agreeing. Player Rights sets out, country by country, what an operator must do, which authority takes a complaint and what the deadlines are.

Read it first

A community answer is somebody’s experience. A complaint deadline is a rule. Where the two disagree, the rule is the one that decides your case — so the Player Rights material is linked here rather than summarised, and it is kept in one place rather than restated in every answer.

06The route a question takes

Nothing is published the moment you write it

Every question waits for a person to read it. That hold is the platform's actual protection against personal data reaching a public page — the automatic checks on the form are a prompt, not a filter.

Informational only

Community discussion on this platform is general information shared by other members. It is not legal advice, it does not create a professional relationship, and nobody answering knows the facts of your case. Nothing here is checked before it is written and only GambleLABS replies are reviewed. Deadlines and procedures change — confirm anything time-critical with the authority named in Player Rights, and consider taking qualified advice in your own jurisdiction.
