Intelligence Search
One index across every published record. A record appears here only once it is public on its own page — nothing in draft, in review or held privately is searchable, at any time, by anyone.
What is searchable
Investigations, research, explainers, player guides and regulation updates. Matched on title, standfirst, body, tags and every entity or jurisdiction linked to the piece.
Contributor articles published to the Journal. Matched on title, standfirst, body, tags, the author’s byline and the cover’s alt text. Drafts, submissions and articles in review are never indexed, and an article withdrawn from the Journal leaves the index with it.
Operators, licence holders, platforms, white labels, aggregators, game studios, payment and hosting providers. Matched on the display name, the legal name, every recorded trading name and every domain attached to the dossier.
Suspensions, revocations, penalties, public warnings and enforcement notices, each taken from the authority’s own published notice.
Hostnames the platform holds a published record for, including those named on an authority’s unauthorised-operator list.
Licence records read from a regulator’s register, matched on the register name as well as the brand name — the two are frequently not the same.
- Jurisdiction230
Country and territory profiles: the regime, the authority responsible, and the register and warning list it publishes.
Reviewed, redacted, consented player case records. The private report behind a case file is never indexed and never searchable.
Never searchable
Player reports, their uploaded attachments, internal evidence records, unapproved Evidence Engine analyses and the audit log have no entry in the index and never will. A report is private for its whole life; the only public expression of one is a redacted case file written deliberately by a reviewer, and it is that case file — not the report — that appears in these results.
How reports are handledHow matching works
Terms are matched across a record’s title, summary, body and keywords. Every term must appear; the last one is matched as a prefix, so a partial word still finds a record. Punctuation and operators are stripped before the query runs, which means a search cannot be malformed — it can only return nothing.
Results are ranked by relevance, then by record date. Ranking is computed from the text alone. No company can pay to appear, to rank higher, or to be excluded.
